Delete your ContentForge account
You can delete your ContentForge account and the data saved to it at any time, in either of these ways.
1. Delete it yourself (quickest)
- Sign in to ContentForge — in the Android app, or at contentforge.originforgestudio.co.uk.
- Open Settings (the ⚙ button in the toolbar).
- Tap or click Delete my account and confirm.
2. Ask us to delete it
If you can’t sign in any more, or you’ve uninstalled the app, email contact@originforgestudio.co.uk from the email address you signed up with, with the subject “Delete my ContentForge account”. We’ll delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.
What gets deleted
- Your account (email address, name and profile picture).
- The projects and uploaded images, video and audio saved to your account.
- Your plan, free-trial and usage records.
Subscriptions
If you have a Pro subscription, deleting your account cancels it straight away, so you won’t be charged again. There is nothing extra to do. Records of past payments are kept by our payment provider for as long as the law requires.
What stays
- Projects saved only on a device or browser you used stay there until you delete them or clear that app’s data. Deleting your account in the app also removes that device’s copies of your projects.
- Files you exported (for example videos saved to your phone’s Gallery) are yours and are not affected.
- Anonymous analytics, if you accepted it, is kept according to Google Analytics’ retention settings and isn’t linked to your account.
