Terms of Use

Last updated: 13 October 2026

These terms apply when you use ContentForge Studio (“the Service”), provided by OriginForge Studio Ltd (company number 17250692; “we”, “us”), Manchester, UK. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it. See also our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

ContentForge Studio is a browser-based tool for creating video, image and audio content. A free plan with usage limits is available (for example, a limited number of background removals, audio bounces, high-resolution exports and cloud-synced projects), and new accounts include a short free trial of the full feature set. A paid subscription removes those limits. The current limits, plans and prices are shown in the app and at checkout before you pay.

2. Your account

Keep your sign-in details safe and give us accurate information. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly at contact@originforgestudio.co.uk if you think it has been misused.

3. Your content

4. Acceptable use

You must not: use the Service for anything unlawful or to make content that is illegal or infringes others’ rights; attempt to bypass usage limits, payment, or access controls; interfere with or overload the Service; use bots, scrapers or other automated means to access it; or try to access other people’s accounts or data.

5. Our intellectual property

The Service — including its software, source code, design, text and branding — is owned by or licensed to OriginForge Studio Ltd and protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own content. Except where the law expressly allows it, you must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, decompile, reverse-engineer or try to extract the source code of the Service, or use it to build a competing product. The Service includes third-party open-source components, which remain under their own licences.

6. Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans bought on the website are billed through Stripe; paid plans bought in the Android app are billed through Google Play. Both renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel a website subscription from the billing option in ContentForge, and a Google Play subscription in the Play Store (or from the Plan option in the app). Google Play subscriptions are also subject to Google Play’s terms, including its refund policy. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available, but it is provided “as is” and may occasionally be interrupted or change. We may update features and limits, and will aim to give notice of significant changes.

8. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data or profit, and our total liability to you relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or £100 if you have not paid anything). Our obligations to consumers under UK law are not affected.

9. Suspension and ending

You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, and will explain why where we reasonably can.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction, although if you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK you may also have the right to bring a claim in your home courts.
